Big Boyz Bail Bonds follows the law. But do they keep their word?

On hearing the verdict, Herman O. Darr whirls around, mutters loudly and storms out of Courtroom 4.

It's a little after 2:30 P.M. on March 1, 2013. Judge Jennifer Etheridge dispatches a bailiff, who hustles to the door and raises his radio, which beeps like an alarm. "You are wanted in the court," the bailiff tells Darr, a 6-foot-1 -inch 35-year-old who is just outside, in the lobby of the District Court on Fayette Street. Darr returns, still agitated.
