This Disney flick is low-key one of the best mainstream comedies of the '90s and an early proving ground for the likes of Ben Stiller, Judd Apatow, Paul Feig, and Kenan Thompson, in what is ostensibly a kid's movie. Set at a sleep-away fat camp, the film follows a gang of boys who bond over kicking back and stashing away their favorite junk foods, in spite of the mocking from a nearby camp for jocks. But the comedic heart of the movie is Stiller in a truly unhinged performance as the highly wired fitness guru Tony Perkis, who buys the camp from the kindly old couple that ran it for years (played by Stiller's real-life parents, Jerry and Anne Meara) and goes militant...
