Llamadon 12 Slices: A Holiday Party

Dec. 19

The Llamadon Collective, who put on excellent shows pretty much all the time, do their own holiday thing with an excellent lineup of varied Baltimore underground musicians: BlackSage, who are like Beach House if they were big fans of Suicide’s ‘Frankie Teardrop’ and had a chip on their shoulder; Butch Dawson, a purveyor of a self-declared “basement rap” style who raps over everything from barely-there ambient beats to Nirvana samples; open-eared soul singer Joy Postell; fragmented rock trio DaikonDaikon; R&B pop experimentalist Beya Likhari; and buggy art-rapper Dylijens. 9 p.m., the Metro Gallery, 1700 N. Charles St., themetrogallery.net, $7-$10. (Brandon Soderberg)
