AKA "The dining Squatbot," this handy, free, advertiser-supported app connects locations of restaurant rubbish bins to "needy crustpunks and families whose SNAP cards have been rescinded," according to Ragnar Danneskold, Chief Dream Visioneer at Squalidinero. "With Dumpstr, we harness market forces to both feed the hungry, repurpose otherwise wasted food and cut disposal bills for our clients in the restaurant industry!" Squalidinero says this app will roll-out in 40 markets in early 2015. Developer: Squalidinero Industries, Inc., Howard County, MD. Funding: $850,000 from several "hard money" lenders specializing in Baltimore real estate.
