City Paper Ferguson Coverage: Morgan State University student rally in photos

Morgan State student leader Chinedu Nwokeafor, 22, lead a peaceful march of about 300 students from the front of the Northeastern District along Hillen Road, where they staged a sit-in. The group then moved to Loch Raven Road at Cold Spring Lane where a second sit successfully blocked the intersection for over 20 minutes. The crowd alternated between singing 'We Shall Overcome,' James Brown's 'I'm Black And I'm Proud,' and the Ferguson chant, "Hands up don't shoot." Police stood by. There were no incidents outside of the occasional argument.
