Aid Workers Take To The Streets To Shelter the Homeless In Photos

Outreach teams from Bon Secours Hospital, the non-profit People Encouraging People, and the Baltimore City Fire Department took to the streets on one of the coldest nights of the year to encourage the city's homeless to go to shelters. With the Code Blue shelter on Fallsway at capacity, the city opened the War Memorial Hall as an overflow shelter. By 4 a.m., the count was 175 men and two women, according to the mayor's office.
