Wednesday: Michael Gould-Wartofsky Presents: "The Occupiers"

Nov. 18

7:30 p.m., Red Emma’s, 30 W. North Ave., (443) 602-7585,, free.

Four years after the occupation of Zuccotti Park—and, here in Baltimore, McKeldin Square—it’s still hard to know what to make of the Occupy movement. After occupiers were evicted from demonstration spots, the movement’s multiple and often vague messages seemed to disappear with them. In his new book, author Michael Gould-Wartofsky not only looks at the movement and its messages, but where it went after the demonstrators left their posts.
