Wednesday: May the Fourth Be With You

May 4

The Baltimore Gamer Symphony Orchestra, a three-year-old assemblage of musicians and singers who jam out video game sounds, stages its “May The Fourth Be With You” concert, which includes an anti-drug message. There’s also four solid hours of gaming time and a costume contest, and you can sign up to listen or to play with the band. Perfect for geeks who are not (yet) band geeks. You will be assimilated. Gaming at 2:30 p.m., costume contest 6:30 p.m., concert 7 p.m., Chesapeake Arts Center, Hammonds Lane Theatre, 194 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, (410) 636-6597, chesapeakearts.org, free to first 10 guests who bring a gaming console, $5 general admission.
