Wednesday: Matisse Prints & Drawings

Dec. 9

Through July 3, 2016, Baltimore Museum of Art, 10 Art Museum Drive, (443) 573-1700, artbma.org, free.

One of the huge benefits to living in Baltimore is the easy (and free!) access to the BMA’s Cone Collection, which includes one of the world’s most important collections of Henri Matisse paintings and sculptures. Now also on view are about 20 prints and drawings that lend insight into the artist’s process, continuing the Cone Collection’s role as the color enthusiast’s wet dream.
