Wednesday: Frankie Cosmos, Warehouse, Snail Mail

July 27

The first time I saw Lindsay Jordan was at a Sharon Van Etten show at the Ottobar a couple of years ago. Van Etten saw the then-15-year-old Jordan, said she recognized her from a YouTube cover of Van Etten's 'Tell Me', and pulled her up onstage to sing the song with her. It was a pretty incredible moment, Jordan sounded great, and now she's a couple years older doing a few more awesome things—making music that sits in spaces between feeling good, warm, sad, and nostalgic with her band Snail Mail, which just released a great new EP "Habit" via Sister Polygon Records; and playing shows all over the place, including tonight's well-curated lineup along with Atlanta's layered/screechy/twinkling rock band Warehouse and NYC's poetic bedroom pop artist Frankie Cosmos. 8 p.m., Windup Space, 12 W. North Ave., (410) 244-8855, thewindupspace.com, $15. (Rebekah Kirkman)
