Thursday: Trinidad & Tobago Steel Orchestra

Aug. 4

What better way to make your trip to the farmer’s market a little more exotic than a world famous 12-piece steel drum band beating out “Hot Hot Hot?” Nothing. That’s what. We recommend getting a T-shirt to commemorate the occasion. Proclaimed “Baltimore’s official steel drum band” by Mayor William Donald Schaefer in 1977, the band is celebrating its 45th year playing outdoors. 5:30-7 p.m., Pigtown Community Farmer’s Market, 1798 Washington Blvd.,, free.
