Thursday: Tate Kobang, Rickie Jacobs, Co-Star

Apr. 7

8 p.m., Baltimore Soundstage, 124 Market Place, (410) 244-0057, $15-$17.

Tate Kobang, whose song ‘Bank Rolls’ (based on the local hit, ‘Bank Rolls,’ from 2002 by Tim Trees) has become a minor national hit and is inescapable here in Baltimore—not that we’re complaining—returns to his hometown. Better yet, Kobang has another potential hit ready with the similarly spare-but-catchy ‘Oh My’—and a new mixtape, "Since We're Here." This victory lap of a show should be special.
