A few years ago, when I was writing for SPIN, I compared the Insane Clown Posse's "The Mighty Death Pop!" to, among other things, Ingmar Bergman, Jimmy Buffett, and the Wu-Tang Clan, which is to say, I deigned to take the clown-makeup-sporting, white rap-rockers kind of seriously, which more of us should probably do (insert something here about how ICP hate is just a convenient way to condescend to the white working class). For one, the group has been around for more than 20 years and also, entirely separate from whether or not you or I like them (I kind of like them, especially 2012's "Freaky Tales"), they do what they do and they do it well and they know who they are. Make sure you're there early to check out local ICP-indebted local horrorcore clown rappers Isolated Beingz and DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia, a major influence on ICP. 7:30 p.m., Baltimore Soundstage, 124 Market Place, (410) 244-0057, baltimoresoundstage.com, $28-$30.
