Sunday: The Lost Airman: A True Story of Escape from Nazi Occupied France

Mar. 27

1 p.m., The Jewish Museum of Maryland, 15 Lloyd St., (410) 732-6400,, $4-$10.

In “The Lost Airman,” writer Seth Meyerowitz tells the story of his grandfather’s escape from Nazi occupied France. Luckily, U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Arthur Meyerowitz was taken in by a family who had strong ties to the French resistance and eventually made it back to U.S. soil. As the done-to-death saying goes, those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it, and as Donald Trump makes his march to apparent world domination, the timing of this book couldn’t be better.
