Saturday: The Music of David Bowie

July 30

Listen, I know there's been a seemingly infinite amount of David Bowie tributes since the rock god died in January, but I'm still not ready to accept a world without the Thin White Duke in it, okay? So yes, on with another tribute. This time it will be the BSO, led by guest conductor Brent Havens joined by a full rock band, performing classics such as 'Heroes,' Space Oddity,' and 'Rebel Rebel.' After what just transpired in Cleveland at the RNC, this will be a much-needed reminder of some of the great things in the world. 7:30 p.m., Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, 1212 Cathedral St., (410) 783-8000, $25-$65.
