Saturday: Poe's 207th Birthday Party

Jan. 16

2-5 p.m., Zella’s Pizzeria, 1145 Hollins St., (410) 685-6999, poeinbaltimore.org, free.

Baltimore just can’t get enough of dead poets, particularly that one guy who died here under mysterious circumstances 167 years ago. Because we clearly don’t celebrate Poe enough, Baltimore’s fans of literature and the macabre gather this weekend for a birthday party, silent auction, and exhibition at Zella’s Pizzeria, plus free admission to the Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum (203 N. Amity St.) all weekend.
