Saturday: Baltimore Wine Fest

June 18

The second annual Baltimore Wine Fest in Canton’s Waterfront Park will feature 128 wines on 16 tables, plus beer, cocktails, and small plates from Jimmy’s, Captain James, Langermann’s and other local vendors. There’ll also be live music from the Michele McTierney Band, Gypsy Soul Revival, Skribe and Pressing Strings. Yeah, they’re doing that silly-ass buy-tickets-then-pay-with-tickets thing but what the hell, right? It’s summertime and there’s wine. Organizers say 6,000 people came last year. Noon-7 p.m., Canton Waterfront Park, 3001 Boston St.,, $12-$15 for entry only, $38-$42 wine tasting and food ticket. (Edward Ericson Jr.)
