Balti Gurls, a collective of female-identifying black and brown artists, is one of the most exciting developments in the local and national art scenes right now. Most recently, they held a diverse exhibition and performance art event called “BLK LUV” at Penthouse Gallery, bringing art by women of color to the forefront of the Alloverstreet art walk. The second installment of their music series Edge Control features Washington, D.C. songstress Zeroni and Baltimore artists Killjoy, Marcelline, Isabejja, and AMYTHSX.
