Monday: Old Lines, Doom, Infest, Rotten Sound, Ramming Speed, Coke Bust, Warxgames, Maloso, Humanmania

May 30

This post-Maryland Death Fest Memorial Day show is full of great bands, but let's just focus on one of them for right now: Old Lines. If you read the paper, you're probably at least familiar with the 2015 Baltimore Uprising song, 'Midnight In Baltimore' (and if you're only aware of that, go back to their 2014 album, "No Child Left Behind."). They also just released a new split EP titled "To Build A Fire" that jumps between what you'd expect from the cogent political hardcore foursome and feedback-filled spoken word tracks featuring the ideas of activist Will Potter, who unpacks issues such as how activists are spied on and his thoughts on James Baldwin. Noon-8 p.m., the Ottobar, 2549 North Howard St., (410) 662-0069,, $15. (Brandon Soderberg)
