Dec. 10: 3rd Annual Baltimore Krampuslauf

Nothing says “Merry Christmas” quite like wreaking havoc upon your neighbors and scaring the shit out of some kids. If the inevitable mayhem that comes with holiday shopping has gotten mundane and you’re craving a dose of anti-establishment Christmas chaos, Krampuslauf has you covered. Hosted in Hampden for the past three years, Krampuslauf annually sees participants dress up as Krampus, the anti-Santa goat monster from early German folklore, to scare unsuspecting city-goers. Revel in some good-natured madness and let loose before your family inevitably stresses you out on Christmas Day. Explore your wild side while enjoying Krampus Karols, a special spooky ice cream flavor (courtesy of The Charmery), and the comradery of your fellow Germanic monsters. 4 p.m., De Kleine Duivel, 3602 Hickory Ave., dekleineduivel.com, free.
