After a violent month the city has seen a lull. Nobody was killed during the week but one man died following an attack on Jan. 8.

Monday, Feb. 2

At 1:11 a.m. on Jan. 8, John Imbragulio, a 54-year-old Caucasian man, was hit on the head while on the 400 block of South Eaton Street in Highlandtown. Police, called for “an unconscious man” who was “lying in the street,” found him there. Medics got him to a hospital, where he died on Feb. 2. Imbragulio’s last known address was on the 300 block of Fagley Street, police say, about a block from where he was attacked. He was hit two weeks before his birthday and died one week after, having just turned 55.
