Murder Ink: 7 murders this week, 222 murders this year

Seven days, seven more homicides. Baltimore in 2015.

The murder-per-day pace continues. A 93-year-old grandmother was grazed in a triple shooting. Police announced a lot more gun arrests and stated that they are being more diligent in pursuing the policy of sending cases to federal court, where penalties are steeper and sentencing totals more honest, for prosecution for people with criminal records who possess a gun.
