There were a total of nine nonfatal shootings reported, and a fight in Fells Point that escalated into a panicked hit-and-run that left a woman hospitalized with skull fractures and was caught on video. Last year by this date there had been 26 murders.

Updates

The race of Justin Nicolai, the suicide victim who police at first reported as a homicide last week, was white, not African-American as the police initially stated. City Paper regrets the error.

Police arrested Theron McClary, 27, and charged him with the Nov. 14, 2015, stabbing murder of Larry Gaither, a 27-year-old African-American man, on North Abington Avenue. McClary is held without bail.
