Don't Panic! Do not run screaming to the supermarket to stock up on bottled water and guns. Do not drive 20 MPH on the beltway like a ninny. Do not place household furniture in the street to reserve your parking space.

"But I don't know where to go to drink whiskey!"

Calm down, dear reader, we've got a guide to great places to sample delicious warmth-giving whiskey, as well as some interviews with local bartenders to help grease the customer-server wheels of communication.

Now that you're warm and whiskeyed, take a moment to read our interview with Chris Cook, CEO of Sloop Betty, about the local company's plans to distill whiskey right here in the great state of Maryland, which should help us keep warm for years to come. Now, doesn't that feel better?
