WEDNESDAY: DELTAnine closes out its July residency at the 8x10 with Hubble Bash and Stokeswood. Shodekeh’s EMBODY Lab: A Catalyst Of The Vocal Arts at The Windup Space features a variety of styles of vocal music from Joyce J. Scott, Mosno Al-Moseeki, and more. Philadelphia psych-rock band Creepoid plays the Metro Gallery with Marriages. Don’t miss: Rising Louisiana rap star Kevin Gates, who recently released the "Murder For Hire" EP, headlines Baltimore Soundstage, with Solo Lucci and OG Boobie Black opening.

THURSDAY: Short List friends Jumpcuts hold a release party at the Metro Gallery for a new 7-inch single with Your Solar and Lola. Uproarious Venezuelan disco band Los Amigos Invisibles performs at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C.

FRIDAY: Influential Cleveland rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 1995 blockbuster "E. 1999 Eternal" by performing the album in its entirety at Baltimore Soundstage. Trumpeter Brandon Woody, a senior at the Baltimore School For The Arts, leads a quintet at An die Musik Live. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performs Dvorák’s "New World Symphony" at the Meyerhoff. It’s David Bowie Karaoke night at the Metro Gallery. Local punk quartet Blinding Eye Dog plays the Sidebar with Well Paid Scientist, Beer Me, The Assless Chaps, and more. Radio Monkey shreds at Fish Head Cantina. Local acoustic solo project Envy The Animals plays the Ottobar with Young Program, The Shrapnels, and more. Don’t miss: The English Beat plays new-wave 2 tone classics like 'Mirror In The Bathroom' and 'Save It For Later' at the 8x10.

SATURDAY: Local rappers Billy Lyve and iLL LuCK perform at Baltimore Soundstage. The Wheels Of Soul Tour, with Tedeschi Trucks Band and Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, comes to Pier Six Pavilion. Sangharsha, a hardcore band with roots in both New York City and Nepal, plays the Sidebar with Blank, Musket Hawk, and more. Portland power-pop band Radioactivity plays the Ottobar with Deep Sleep, Scum Again, and more. That Guy Zeb hosts the Videodrome party upstairs at the Ottobar, digging for the best and worst music videos and taking requests. Cris Jacobs and friends celebrate Jerry Garcia’s birthday at The 8x10. SUNDAY: Faith No More headlines Merriweather Post Pavilion in support of "Sol Invictus," its first album since reuniting, with The Refused opening. Fuzz-punk quartet Flesh World performs at The Windup Space. Don't miss: The Fifth Dimension hosts a night of synth-y black metal with Minneapolis’ False, D.C.’s Citadel, and Baltimore’s Elagabalus.

MONDAY: Santa Monica indie pop band Cayucas plays the Rock & Roll Hotel in D.C. Don’t miss: 98 Rock’s local music program Noise In The Basement holds its final weekly concert at the Ottobar, saying farewell with an all-star jam of covers and collaborations.

TUESDAY: Carolyn Malachi blends hip-hop, jazz, and spoken word at Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover. Veteran reggae star Beres Hammond headlines Rams Head Live. Waldorf experimental band Valleys In Autumn play the Sidebar with Stolas, Artifex Pereo, Haunt, Body Thief, and more. Nashville’s Jet Black Alley Cat plays the Ottobar with Liz Labelle, Rookie Of The Year, Little Heartbreakers, and more.

WEDNESDAY: Gordon Lightfoot celebrates a half-century of performing with the 50 Years On The Carefree Highway Tour at Pier Six Pavilion. Philadelphia indie punk band Beach Slang plays the Metro Gallery. Gaithersburg funk band LITZ kicks off a weekly residency at The 8x10 for the month of August.
