Best Vintage: Keepers Vintage

229 W. Read St., (443) 421-3757, keepersvintage.com

Walking into Keepers Vintage, a tiny shop tucked into the Midtown neighborhood, feels like walking onto the set of one of those meet-cute Hallmark Channel movies, where shops are all adorable, tasteful, and decorated just-so—except in this case, it’s better because the Hallmark Channel tends to forget black people exist when casting their movies. The point is Keepers is stocked full of things to wear—tops, jeans, dresses, bags, and jewelry—that feel both timeless and just right to wear right now. They also carry tons of locally produced products like Knits, Soy & Metal candles, bath soaks, shea mixes, and body oils (created and designed by black women, another advantage over the Hallmark Channel).
