The thing about the edibles that CMC makes is that you’d eat them even if they didn’t get you high. We first became enamored with his work at this year’s Cosmic Cocktail celebration when he offered a few of our staffers some of his homemade weed caramels. They were chewy and buttery, and the funky, earthy taste of the weed gave the sweetness of the candy an added depth—like you were eating a grown-up version of the candy. Since then, we’ve sampled his double chocolate chip weed-spiked cookies, snickerdoodles, and chocolate chip cookies. The high you get never leaves you jittery and paranoid, just chilled out and full.
