Best Freaky Friday: Trials of Officers in Freddie Gray Case

Much of this year felt like one of those movies where people swap roles for a day. Activists and people who would normally favor the defense were cheering on the city’s top prosecutor, while the police, who normally work with the state’s attorney’s office, were attacking Mosby and claiming the system was unfair. It was like bizarro world and crazy to watch. But it also helped lay things bare: Most of what people say is based on preferred outcome rather than profound conviction.
