Best Thing Kevin Plank Hasn’t Fucked Up Yet: Nick’s Fish House

2600 Insulator Drive, (410) 347-4123,

Despite the seeming lack of affordable housing options at his Port Covington development, Under Armour’s Kevin Plank is doing some things right, or at least not too badly. We really hope this new water taxi scheme works because a functional water transport would be great. And one place where we hope it stops is Nick’s Fish House. When Sagamore, Plank’s development arm, first bought the land looking out onto the Hanover Street Bridge—somehow it is so damn beautiful when you’re eating crabs with a few beers—they kicked out the people who were living in the boats, and the servers at Nick’s now all wear Under Armour, but otherwise Sagamore has yet to ruin the restaurant.
