Best Snow Removal: Baltimoreans With Snow Shovels

We did it, Baltimore. Granted, we did it because we had no choice, but when the city found itself buried under nearly 30 inches of snow in January, residents with snow shovels came out like Libertarian worker ants to dig our streets out from under another absurdly-named storm. Rather than the typical tradition of exhuming one’s own car and putting out a parking chair (still illegal, by the way), folks all over town mobilized with shovels to unbury entire city blocks when the plows had yet to touch some streets days after the snow started falling. Sure, our New England neighbors might chuckle at a city incapacitated by a couple feet of snow, but let’s all consider this good training for the impending calamity of climate change.
