104 St. Paul St., (410) 244-1428
We’ve spent a lot of time around the courthouse over the last year and when you’re watching a trial, a good lunch is essential, especially if you had nothing but coffee for breakfast. The grisly details of a murder can make you feel queasy and you need a moment’s refuge of normalcy to pretend that the world is not an utterly fucked up place. One place that helped us chill out was Pho Viet. With two different sides to the restaurant (on either side of the hotel at the corner of St. Paul and Lexington), Pho Viet boasts an always-friendly staff, and their pho got us through the winter, banh mi through the spring, and rice noodles through the sweltering summer.
