Best Temporary Disappearing Act: Bottega

Bottega shut down around Memorial Day, headed for new digs in Hampden. In early August, owners Adrien Aeschliman and Frederick “Sandy” Smith still hadn’t taken over the new spot, and nothing has been posted on the restaurant’s Facebook pages since the middle of May. We want boar pappardelle, we want peaches with Gorgonzola and honey, we want salted caramel and chocolate pie. We know some things about what’s going on, but promised to keep mum until all of the proverbial papers are proverbially signed. Does Bottega need a proverbial pen? We have a real pen. Plenty of pens, in fact. Just tell us where you are, Bottega, and we’ll come running.
