Soaring ceilings, enormous murals, and dramatic architecture are all part of what makes Sotto Sopra a stunning space that, while elegant and stately, remains comfortable and welcoming. Seriate native Chef Riccardo Bosio has always embraced the farm-to-table concept, using local ingredients whenever possible, but without the pomp and circumstance and self-back-patting that’s become pervasive among restaurants employing the concept. The kitchen creates authentic Northern Italian cuisine that inspires us to embrace Italian food beyond our Americanized favorites. Even after nearly 20 years, Sotto Sopra remains one of our favorite destination spots for a special-occasion dinner.
