Best Last Night

When The Quest closed its storied doors this August, it did so with a bang. As the last gay bar standing in Southeast Baltimore, The Quest had quite a loyal local following, who came out in full force to bid farewell. The event also drew hoards of mourners from across the city with $2 drink specials and numerous drag performers. The Quest will be missed for its everyday divey ambiance, idiosyncracies such as a pool table and a skee-ball machine, and reliably cheap drinks, but its rowdy closing night cemented the establishment’s place in the annals of legendary Baltimore bars.
