Le Garage has demystified French food for a lot of Baltimoreans since it opened its doors in April. Gone are the heavy sauces, fussy preparations, and extravagant prices. Housed in a sleek and modernly renovated basement space, Le Garage creates a great dining experience. From the layered tartines (get the bacon, egg, and tomato jam!) to the duck leg confit on alkaline egg noodle, there are dishes for everyone. No matter what you decide on, an order of the frites is a must-have. They’re the best frites in Baltimore by a long shot and the only problem you’ll encounter with them is deciding on which of the 10 house-made dipping sauces to pair them with.
