In last year’s Best of Baltimore issue, we named Remington the Best Up and Coming Neighborhood. With the arrival of Parts & Labor and Single Carrot Theatre, it feels like Remington has arrived. Here’s the best part: It’s still cheap! Well, at least for now. With local developer Seawall buying up blocks of property and planning to develop apartments—geared toward nearby Hopkins students, naturally—and ground-level retail, we wonder if this quiet hamlet will soon lose its charm just as things are getting good.
