Happening Sunday: 'Princess Bride' burlesque, Say Anything, and more

-The Princess Bride: A Burlesque Tribute of Unusual Size: Snuggle up for story time and prepare for a fairy tale of gallant knights, beautiful princesses, giants, revenge, an ill-fated mawage, twoo wuv, thongs, glitter, thighs, and nipple pasties. With Moxie LaBouche, Bella La Blanc, Ego Von Hubris, Sally Starrdust, Dante the Inferno, Xander Lovecraft, and Ray Bullock as the Grandfather, this burlesque tribute to Rob Reiner’s 1987 adventure has even more twists and turns than the cult-film original. 9 p.m., Ottobar, 2549 N. Howard St., (410) 662-0069, theottobar.com, $12. (Maura Callahan)

-From the Short List: Say Anything sets frontman Max Bemis’ logorrheic oversharing to catchy riffs and killer choruses at Baltimore Soundstage with Modern Baseball and Cymbals Eat Guitars. Don’t miss: The Creative Alliance at the Patterson presents an evening with Baltimore’s world-renowned author and musical researcher Ian Nagoski and some records from his incredible collection.
