Happening Sunday: 'Goldblum: The Water Ballet,' My Morning Jacket, and more

-Goldblum: The Water Ballet: What if we told you that there was a production that takes you through the mind of Jeff Goldblum in a spiritual retrospective of his acting career, from ‘Jurassic Park’ to ‘The Fly’ to ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’? What if we told you this production was a water ballet? In a potentially internet-breaking show (someone better put it on YouTube) performance art group Fluid Movement is making a dream you didn’t know you had come true. What a time to be alive. Patterson Park Pool, 148 S. Linwood Ave., Aug. 1 and 2, Druid Hill Park Pool, 800 Wyman Park Drive, fluidmovement.org, $5-$10. (Maura Callahan)

-Fly Golden Eagle, Hollywood Blanks, The Golden Sombreros: Fly Golden Eagle’s last album, a 26-track psych-gospel odyssey called “Quartz,” was designed to be played alongside the 1973 avant-garde film ‘The Holy Mountain.’ But with their jangly guitars, pounding organs, and frontman Ben Trimble’s soulful wails, you need nothing more to transport yourself through their trippy, 70’s-style spiritual journey. Check out the Nashville quartet as they return to Baltimore with local rock acts Hollywood Blanks and The Golden Sombreros. 9 p.m., Ottobar, 2549 N. Howard St., (410) 662-0069, theottobar.com, $8.
