Happening Sunday: Collective Minds Festival, Homeboy Sandman, and more

-Collective Minds Festival: House music is not the typical focus of an outdoor festival, so of course Baltimore has an outdoor house music festival. Spent a day in the sun with house DJs and recording artists including Damond Ramsey and Sheila Ford, plus dancers, visual art, and food and craft vendors. Noon-7 p.m., Druid Hill Park, 2600 Madison Ave., (410) 396-6106, cmfestival.org, free. (Maura Callahan)

-From the Short List: Stones Throw rapper Homeboy Sandman performs at Metro Gallery with excellent local support from Eze Jackson, Bond St. District, and Drew Scott. Seven-string guitarist Rogerio Souza brings the sounds of Brazilian choro to An die Musik Live. (Al Shipley)
