Drew Kondylas, a manager with the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and a former radio executive, will take over as City Paper's general manager, effective July 27.
The Baltimore native has 13 years of media experience, previously working for CBS, Radio One, Entercom, and Greater Media. During his time with those companies, his roles varied from hosting an on-air radio slot to leading advertising and marketing teams and serving as a full-time production director.
"I am thrilled to be joining a brand that is a valuable part of the city," Kondylas said in a press release. "The City Paper attracts readers and advertisers with its unique independent and alternative voice across all platforms. I am looking foward to help grow the City Paper and connect advertisers to our coveted audience in print and online."
