Happening Sunday: Art-Part'heid, Evan Dando

-Art-Part'heid: Bridging the Gap of Disparities in the Baltimore Arts Scene: In our last Fall Arts Guide, we addressed some of the racial gaps and silos within the local art scene. This was not the first time these issues were acknowledged and discussed, and it is not, and should not be, the last. Gentrification, a lack of transparency, and the failure to acknowledge privilege are a few of the many factors that contribute to both deliberate and unintentional exclusion of people of color from white-dominated art venues and programming. With speakers that include our own Baynard Woods, "Art-Part'heid" is an opportunity to share your experiences and ask the questions you may have been afraid to ask. 3 p.m., 2640 Space, 2640 St. Paul St., free.
