The Metro Gallery now sells physical tickets on Thursdays, no service fee charged

The internet makes a lot of things more convenient, but concert ticket-buying is one of the few to tack a fee onto said convenience.

In a throwback to pre-internet days, the Metro Gallery will now open on Thursdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to sell physical tickets, just like a box office. There's no service fee, and hey, you'll end up with a nice little souvenir.

The no service fee is pretty nice, though, right? Hell, you even have to pay $1 (or $2 if you use a credit card) when purchasing Ottobar tickets at nearby Charmington's.

Promoter Adam Savage wrote on Facebook that customers will soon be able to buy tickets anytime the Metro Gallery is open.
