Outer Spaces release video for 'Born Enemy'; full-length out today

Happy LP Release Day, Outer Spaces! The indie pop trio, comprised of Cara Beth Satalino (formerly of Witches), Rob Dowler (of Nuclear Power Pants), and Chester Gwazda (a solo artist and producer for Dan Deacon, Future Islands, and many more), put out its first LP, "A Shedding Snake," on Don Giovanni Records today. That makes them label mates with some pretty stellar company, including Priests, Screaming Females, and Downtown Boys, just to name a few.

The group's jangly indie rock has been getting attention on its own merits, with sites such as A.V. Club and Conesquence of Sound praising their catchy tunes and Satalino's heart-on-her-sleeve lyrics.

To mark the release, Outer Spaces put out a video for 'Born Enemy' filled with flashing lights and cracked glass. Watch it below:

And if you're just getting introduced to Outer Spaces, be sure to check out the video for 'I Saw You,' which features some of colorful architectural details from across the city:

Outer Spaces already played a proper album release show at Current Space on May 20, so here's hoping they book another hometown date after their tour ending on July 3. In the meantime, you can stream "A Shedding Snake" on Spotify.
