Horse Lords release remix EP for charity

We named "Hidden Cities," the second album by local experimental rock outfit Horse Lords, one of the best albums in 2014 thanks to its "swirling arty riffs, bad-acid grooves, and Krautrock skronk."

Now you can hear remixes of those songs done by Drew Daniel and M.C. Schmidt of Matmos, Greg Fox of Liturgy, Jason Urick, Jason Willet, and Wobbly.

Sweethearts that they are, Horse Lords is donating proceeds from the album to Believe in Music, a Living Classrooms program that brings music education to underprivileged Baltimore City students. You can stream the remixes over at Horse Lords' Bandcamp, but don't be an asshole: Cough up the $5 for a good cause.

Catch the band at The Crown on April 23 with Cloud Becomes Your Hand, Oh Hang, and PC Worship.
