Future Islands, Beach House, and Dan Deacon headline Windjammer, a massive day of local music at Pier Six

Holy shit, Baltimore. Future Islands, Beach House, and Dan Deacon, arguably three of the biggest acts to come out of the local music scene, are hosting an all-day festival of local music on Aug. 29 at waterfront pavilion Pier Six.

The bill also includes Ed Schrader's Music Beat, Bond St. District, Romantic States, and DJ sets from James Nasty, Jason Willett, M.C. Schmidt, and more.

Best of all, the show, called Windjammer, benefits Believe in Music, a music education program run through Living Clasrooms.

Tickets go on sale June 19 at 10 a.m.

Good on everyone involved. This should be amazing.
