Catch Sun Club live at WTMD's studios

It's been quite a year for spazzy indie rockers Sun Club. After doing the whole SXSW thing, the local five-piece scored a deal with ATO Records, the home to bands such as My Morning Jacket and Alabama Shakes, and released their debut LP, "The Dongo Durango," on the label. Their van caught fire too, but it seems like they've gotten past that.

Having your profile elevated like that will get you a booking agent at the Windish Agency.

But Sun Club is going to keep things nice and intimate for an in-studio performance at WTMD's studios in Towson on Dec. 16. Sure, you could just tune in on the radio, but there are also a limited number of seats to catch the show live.

Tickets are on sale now through MissionTix for $20. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. The band's set can also be heard at 89.7 on your FM dial.
