Lower Dens announces third album, 'Escape From Evil,' due out in March. Hear 'To Die in L.A.'

Local kraut-rocky indie group Lower Dens is set to release its third album, "Escape from Evil," on March 31 via Ribbon Music. It's the band's first album since the delightful, Kraftwerk-indebted "Nootropics" in 2012. A press release announcing "Escape from Evil" says lead singer and guitarist Jana Hunter "emerges: cerebral and hot-blooded, rash and incorruptible, and, crucially, possessing of a loud, clear voice," and that's patently the case in the plucky lead single 'To Die in L.A.,' which you can hear below.
