Hampdenfest Details Announced

After a brief scare, Hamdenfest is all set to go for Saturday, Sept. 20, a week later than originally planned, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Atomic Books owner Benn Ray, one of the festival's organizers, sent us some details about the event, which will again include the famous toilet bowl races, a stellar lineup of bands, and the introduction of a new spectacle, "Hampden's Got Talent" (auditions at Frazier's on the Avenue Sept. 6) and a kids stage, curated by Kevin Sherry.
