Catch up with Salvia Plath's Michael Collins, who now lives in L.A. and performs as part of the soul duo Silk Rhodes

Michael Collins, known locally for the blissed-out songs of Salvia Plath (née Run DMT), is now based in Los Angeles, where he and Sasha Desree (whom you can see playing percussion and singing harmonies in the video for the Salvia Plath song 'House of Leaves') make minimalist soul music under the name Silk Rhodes. In July, Rolling Stone named them one of the 10 New Artists You Need To Know, and now we get word of a debut self-titled album due out Dec. 2 on Stones Throw Records.
