After skipping 2014, Scapescape returns this summer

Following last year's absence, Scapescape, the multiday fete of local music and just one of several festivals to affix "scape" to the end of its name, is coming back. Details are still scant as to who will be playing, but there's already a date, so mark your calendars: June 5-7.

And it will once again be in Station North. Kevin Blackistone (winner of Best Campaign for Best Baltimorean in 2012), who has helped with Scapescape in the past and this year will be working as one of the principal organizers, says they're hoping to line up some of the same venues used in 2013, which included the parking lot next to The Metro Gallery and The Windup Space.

We'll keep you updated on band announcements as they come in. In addition to a website and Facebook page, you can also keep track of Scapescape happenings on a newly minted Twitter account.
